Solar panel up top, 4G inside. It keeps itself charged and keeps reporting.

Why cellular changes things

No wifi. No walk back out to check it.

A normal trail camera makes you drive out, pull the card and drive home to find out what happened. This one tells you the same day.

Runs on 4G, not wifi

Works on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile coverage. A SIM is built in, so there is nothing to source or fit.

Solar keeps it alive

A 4W panel and internal cell mean you are not hiking out every few weeks with a handful of AAs.

0.2 second trigger

Fast enough to catch the whole animal in frame rather than the back half leaving it.

Low-glow night vision

850nm infrared gives you usable night images without a bright flash that spooks whatever walked past.

Put it where power is not

Fields, tree lines, gates, cabins, job sites. It only needs a strap and a view of the sky for the panel.

  • Strap mount and adjustable bracket included
  • 4W solar panel on its own arm
  • IP65 sealed against rain and dust
  • 120 degree wide-angle lens

Set it up once

Pair it to the Ucon app, choose how it reports, close the seal and leave it. Settings can be changed later from your phone rather than at the tree.

  • Live 2.7K view on demand from the app
  • Change settings remotely, not on site
  • Share the feed with family
  • Photos and clips to SD card or cloud

Built to be left out

Sealed door, gasketed edges and a short fixed antenna. Nothing dangling that a branch or a curious animal can take off.

  • IP65 weather sealing
  • Rated for cold and heat extremes
  • Short fixed antenna, nothing to snap
  • Rugged camo shell
Setup

From box to first photo

1

Add an SD card

Takes up to 128GB. The card is not included, and cloud storage has a 30-day free trial if you would rather not use one.

2

Pair it in the app

Install Ucon, scan the camera in and pick how often you want to hear from it. The built-in SIM comes with 300MB of trial data.

3

Strap it and aim it

Mount at the height you want to catch, angle the solar panel at open sky, and close the seal. It reports from there.

“Set it on the back forty where there is no wifi for miles and it still sends me photos on my phone. That is the whole reason I bought it.”

“The solar panel means I have not touched the batteries since I mounted it in spring. Night shots are clear enough to tell the bucks apart.”

“Trigger is genuinely quick — I get the whole animal in frame, not the back half walking out of it. App setup took about ten minutes.”

Questions

Before you order

Yes, and it is worth knowing up front. The camera ships with a built-in SIM carrying 300MB of trial data. After that you top up a data plan in the app — roughly $19.90 a month or $169 a year per camera. Plans are per device and cannot be shared between cameras.

No, and it will not connect to wifi even if you have it. The camera works purely over 4G LTE on Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile coverage.

No. It takes a card up to 128GB, bought separately. New users also get a 30-day cloud storage trial if you would rather store footage there.

No. The SIM is fixed in the camera and only works on US networks. It does not support cross-region use and the SIM cannot be swapped.

It uses 850nm low-glow infrared, so you get clear black-and-white images at night with only a faint red glow at the lens rather than a bright flash.

With the solar panel getting reasonable daylight, you should not need to touch it. In deep shade or a long overcast stretch the internal cell will draw down and need help.
